The focus for this year’s 2008 conference is Education. Your Vice President, Sean Morris, took the reigns and is busy getting us fantastic seminars.

• Start with a basic course on Pyro Essentials. We’ll have speakers talk to you about how to improve everything from displays, the business and the fun of doing fireworks.

• You’ll get a good understanding on the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Regulations as it pertains to Fireworks!
  (That’s worth a few hundred bucks alone!)

• Learn about the preliminary workings of the new Explosives Packaging standards and other regulatory updates.

• We’re even inviting speakers who can show us tips to improve our businesses.  

Arrivals are on Thursday April 24^th where you’ll enjoy the evening and a few drinks with your national (and international) Pyro friends. To cap off the evening you’ll enjoy a dinner comedy theatre production called, “Greys House of Anatomy” where all the waiters are part of the act! Feast on a 4 course meal with all the fixings! Our Convention Hosts, CanFire and Archangel are both sponsoring the evening so please tell us whether or not you can attend!

Fireworks… yes we’ll have those too!  With access to a supply of over 4,000 mortars and the opportunity of a 16” shell you won’t want to miss this awesome event!
